Dr. Yiridoe obtained both his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in agricultural economics from the University of Guelph. Dr. Yiridoe has published several studies related to Environmental Management Systems and Standards, Environmental Farm, Plan programs, and Organic Agriculture. Dr. Yiridoe is a recognized national expert in environmental farm planning programs and was recently invited to address the Alberta Agricultural Economics Association on the topic of Environmental Farm Planning as a theme topic. Dr. Yiridoe is also currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Organic Agriculture Centre of Canada (OACC), as well as the Atlantic Canada representative of a national team of economic and marketing researchers for the OACC.

Dr. Yiridoe is an active researcher in the area of resource and environmental economics in general and specifically in Environmental Farm Planning in Canada, Environmental Management System standards certification, and organic agriculture.

As consultants for Brown Economic Consulting, Drs. Yiridoe and Clark routinely work on agricultural research projects for Agriculture Canada and other worldwide agricultural organizations.
